In addition to sending employees through the NEFBA Apprenticeship program, many employers also participate in leadership committees. Our employers can be as active as they desire within the leadership of the program. The employer committees wear many hats as they lead the apprentices— as advisers, mentors, and administrators. The committees are made up of 5-10 business owners/leaders and are all on a voluntary basis. This group upholds the standards of the program, takes an interest in each apprentice’s education and encourages apprentices to set short term/ long term career goals. We invite any employers to join our committee meetings!
