JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — During a recent graduation ceremony, the Northeast Florida Builders Association’s (NEFBA) Apprenticeship Program proudly certified its largest class in history – 77 new apprentices.
This comprehensive program offers 4 years of classroom instruction and on-the-job training for trades such as carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal.
The Apprenticeship Program is celebrating its 50th year after getting started in 1973 by Carmel Morris and several local area electricians in reference to the need for skilled trades professionals.
